VEHICLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

The Lessee agrees to rent the vehicle from the Lessor under the terms of this contract, including the following conditions:

• The rental period, price, and deposit amount are set forth in the contract and must be paid prior to vehicle delivery.
• The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Otherwise, a refueling fee will be charged.
• The vehicle must be returned clean. If excessively dirty or unclean (e.g. stains, pet hair, trash), an additional cleaning fee of up to €50 will be charged.
• Only the persons listed on the contract are permitted to drive the vehicle.
• Driving is not allowed outside Hungary without prior written permission.
  • Driving to the following countries is strictly prohibited: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.
  • Violation of this clause will result in a €500 penalty and immediate termination of insurance coverage, for which the Lessee bears full responsibility.

In case of an accident, the Lessee must:

• Immediately notify the Lessor, police, and, if applicable, emergency services.
• Provide a police report and accident report (with photos and insurance information).
• Failure to provide proper documentation will make the Lessee fully liable for all damages.

The Lessee is fully responsible for damages caused by:

• Improper use of the vehicle (e.g. off-road driving, overloading).
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Unauthorized drivers or expired licenses.
• Leaving the vehicle unlocked or keys inside the vehicle.

Theft: If the vehicle is stolen due to the Lessee’s negligence (e.g. keys left inside), the Lessee is fully liable for the loss.

The vehicle must be returned on time as specified in the contract. Any delay without prior notice may result in:

• Late return fee: €10 per hour (first 3 hours), then charged as an additional full rental day.

If the vehicle is not returned within 24 hours, it will be reported as stolen, and legal action will be taken.

Early return of the vehicle does not entitle the Lessee to any refund for unused rental days.

The rental includes Basic Insurance (CDW – Collision Damage Waiver) with a deductible of €500.

The deductible must be paid by the Lessee for any damage, regardless of fault, unless the police report clearly states that the Lessee was not at fault.

Damage without a police report or caused by prohibited actions (e.g. drunk driving, reckless behavior) will not be covered by insurance, and the Lessee will be fully liable.

Smoking and pets are prohibited in the vehicle. Violation may result in a cleaning fee of up to €100.

The vehicle may not be used for:

• Commercial transport
• Racing or off-road driving
• Towing other vehicles

The Lessee must use the vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and local regulations.

A security deposit is required and will be returned within 7 days after the rental period if:

• The vehicle is returned undamaged, clean, with a full fuel tank.

The Lessor reserves the right to deduct:

• Cleaning fees
• Fuel charges
• Traffic fines or tolls
• Repair costs or deductible amounts

Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled rental start.

If cancelled less than 48 hours before, the Lessee will be charged 50% of the rental fee.

Modification of dates or vehicle is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Hungary.

The court of jurisdiction is located in Hungary, based on the registered seat of the Lessor.

By signing this Agreement, the Lessee confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above.
